Once you’re a little way down your imaginary word document and you feel like moving something from one place to another, select the content, CTRL + X will cut the text, removing it but copying it too, then click CTRL + V in your new location and bam! It’s moved without ever having to search that right click menu for a paste option. This is a quick and easy one, select some text or an image CTRL + C will copy this to your invisible PC clipboard then click CTRL + V in a word doc or similar to paste the image. Abolish the right click: CTRL + C, CTRL + V and CTRL + X ![]() This it’s a shortcut to a Windows feature that will in 99% of computer crash out cases force itself to the front and allow you to do a couple of things, you can lock your machine, switch users or sign out, change your password, open the ease of access centre, shutdown, reboot or hibernate your PC, but most importantly I feel is you can open task manager, allowing you to manage and dispel troublesome programs or just to see what’s clogging up your PC. ![]() With modern user interfaces and operating systems making it easier and easier to do things faster these days some might say that keyboard shortcuts swill soon become a thing of the past, but until I can have a full blown conversation with my computer and have it correctly auto detect what I want it to do by analysing the sentence coming out of my mouth, I think I’ll stick with these useful key combos.
